Zoo Keeper for The Day Experience

Spending the whole day alongside our keeper team is a unique opportunity to learn all about Camperdown Wildlife Centre and the fabulous animals that live here. Your action-packed itinerary will feature the chance to work on various animal sections Your day includes cleaning out enclosures preparing food and of course, the opportunity to meet some of the animals at close quarters- so its guaranteed to be fun.

Being a Keeper for the Day can include preparing diets, cleaning enclosures, feeding, enrichment and observing behaviour.

Arrive at 9.30am at Reception Area where a Keeper will greet you.

Example Itinerary:

Between 9.30am to 3pm.

Your Keeper for The Day may include:

• European Bears (seasonal)
• Scottish Wildcats
• Small Clawed Otters
• Lunch break. Lunch voucher provided. You can also leave the centre during this break. But remember to be back when keepers have said.
• Marmoset
• Lemurs

Sensible footwear is required as the paths to some enclosures are uneven. Please wear comfortable and preferably old clothing. Please bring waterproof clothing as the experience will still take place if the weather is inclement.

Cost

• The Zoo Keeper of the Day Experience cost £150 per person and includes a souvenir gift and a certificate. 10% off gift shop sales given on the day of experience.
