Free umbrella hire is available for a returnable deposit and free adult wheelchair use, subject to availability.

Assistance dog boarding is available for our visitors with disabilities, as unfortunately we cannot allow any dogs in the Widlife Centre. Booking is advisable. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the building.

How to get here

By car

The park is 3 miles from the city centre, follow the signs for Coupar Angus (A923) off the Kingsway West (A90).

Once on the A923, at the first roundabout take the first exit (left) to the Leisure Park and turn immediately right into the park at the main entrance. Follow the signs to the Widllife Centre along the drive. The Centre is approximately 1 mile into the park.

The car park is adjacent to the Wildlife Centre.

By bus

There is no bus service which comes into the park but the nearby Leisure Park has a regular service and is approximately 1 mile from the Wildlife Centre. Bus and timetable details can be found on dundeetravelinfo.com

Facilities

Our recently refurbished café is a great place to refresh hungry kids and parents. The café has a range of home-made snacks, cakes, hot and cold drinks, ice-cream and much more.
The fun doesn’t have to end when you go home. Pay a visit to our gift shop and choose from a variety of wildlife- and animal-themed toys, goodies, and books.
Have a great birthday party for your children at the Wildlife Centre. Your fun party will be held in the Learning Room before visiting our fabulous animals. We are committed to providing Access for All, to ensure that everyone enjoys their visit without barriers. There is free adult wheelchair use, subject to availability. Assistance dog boarding is available, as unfortunately we cannot allow any dogs in the centre. Booking is advisable.
Located within the 400-acre Camperdown Park, the site comprises approximately 16 acres of generally flat terrain and is considered reasonably wheelchair and pushchair-friendly. The majority of the paths are tarmac. We offer free wheelchair loans to visitors.
These are situated at the main entrance.
If the weather is nice, there is also an outdoor picnic area available for alfresco dining.
There is ample free parking opposite the main entrance to Camperdown Wildlife Centre.
